Versatility The UT-8808-8 Polisher handles up to 8 connectors at a time. It gives your Production the ability to polish any connector type or brand, meeting or exceeding all connector specifications. Using our defined polishing procedure, an average of 1,280 connectors can be polished in an eight hour shift. The high volume of throughput is attributable to the unique design which allows quick access to polishing platens and connector holders. Changeover from one connector type to another takes only a few seconds.

All manufacture is performed under our stringent ISO 9000 compliant quality control system. Each UT-8808-8 Polisher is performance tested, the test connectors being examined for conformance to the critical parameters, thus assuring the user of functionality and reliability.
Accessories The system can be powered by 110 or 220 VAC converter or by a standard 12V battery. A wide variety of workholders are available for extending the use of the system at any time. "Off-the-shelf" workholders include SC, FC, ST, D4, SMA, Biconic, Bare Fiber (all sizes available), MT Ribbon Fiber, SC APC, FC APC, ST-APC, D4 APC FDDI & Ferrule only.
