These scopes provide unmatched insight into signal behavior by displaying, storing and analyzing complex signals in real-time using three dimensions of signal information: amplitude, time and distribution of amplitude over time.
They feature up to 1GHz bandwidth, 5GS/s real-time sample rate, 8 MB record length and 100,000 wfm/s maximum waveform capture rate. The flexible user interface allows you to control the scope in five different ways—analog-style knobs, graphical pull-down menus, optional touch-screen, mouse/keyboard, or optional voice control, making the series easy-to-learn and easy-to-use.
With proprietary DPX™ acquisition technology, an open Windows desktop and application programming interfaces (API) for Windows and UNIX, the TDS5000 series combines a high performance oscilloscope and a PC in a self-contained unit. By using the embedded PCI bus, waveform data can be moved directly from acquisition to analysis applications on the internal Windows desktop at much faster speeds than conventional GPIB transfers.
An advanced suite of advanced triggers includes: logic qualified runt trigger, window trigger, and extensive video triggering functionality for NTSC, PAL SECAM, analog HDTV and non-standard video formats.
